Week 4 Task 4

Harmony & Unity

In this week's lecture we we're introduced to harmony & unity design principles. From my understanding harmony is related to the use of elements that have certain similarities to make a more balanced artwork.

Unity is the use of similar elements within an artwork in various sizes, shapes etc:

From what I understood about harmony is a mixture of elements and similarities that make the art work complimentary

For harmony, I choose a design like this because of the flame structure that can be easily varied and differed.

Reflection

From this exercise I got to understand how to use this multiple design principles in one design.while following design concepts

LECTURER FEEDBACK

Exercise 4: The overall compositions for unity and harmony reflect the principles but the colour combinations do not.

Use of Media: Relevant to the exercises. Finishing is neater than before but still can be better.

Quality of pictures: Adequate.

Descriptions/Reflection: There is some improvement on description of ideas and final outcome. You still have not numbered all the visuals. Reflection is included in every week's exercise. Keep it up.

Lecturer's feedback: You still have not included the verbal feedback that I gave during tutorial into the blog. By the submission of Project 1, this must be done.

Overall blog: Since the last written feedback I gave you on Week 3, I noticed that you have written a short summary for Weeks 3, 4 and 5 lecture topics but there should be supporting research visuals (do not reuse the lecture slides visuals, search for your own to practise your understanding).

Major project - Final compilation and reflection

After which we provide a proposal to be accepted. at the end of the semester we were to present our projects in an exhibition. My choice of topic was "binaural beats as an aid in drug recovery" related to the sdg of drug abuse and solutions Proposal : So my chosen project was countering the problem of increasing drug relapse in rehab centres due to doctors not having a solution to help their patients in recovery. My solution was to run a campaign about an effective solution that doctors can use to help their patients to decrease relapse which was binaural beats. Creative brand strategy  project 3 Dayyan Ahmed (0344670) Content conversion and statistics Instructions Task brief  For project 3 we were told to compile all our content and then analyze and compare which posts had the highest conversion rate. what type of posted they were and how well did they work through the campaign Final compilation and statistics presentation Feedback  - Slides were a bit too statistic based - Could make more room to show more content  Reflection The final project here helped me understand how different content interacts with an audience. During the comparison i could point out which type of content was above others and a more better approach when running a specific campaign.
