Exercise 1  - Box Making 

For our exercise 1 , Mr Shamsul asked us to choose two items with a given size and design a box for them accordingly using a folding system.

Chosen items : 

- Watch 

- Guitar cable

For the watch I wanted to make a classy sophisticated yet unique box because the watch itself also was related to those themes.

The material i used was a semi thick double layer cardboard paper because my box was going too be hollow as well and it would keep the strength integrity and is still easy to bend .

Exercise 2 - Playing cards and packaging 

For exercise 2 we were to remake a variation of playing cards  from the following themes.

- Vintage 

- Contemporary 

- Typography 

- Minimal

I chose the theme contemporary mainly because I have interest in animations and futuristic dark designs.

I started by making the custom symbols i would be using for the cards.

After confirming the symbols we had to start applying it to the cards and also design the king, queen , jack , joker cads.
